Dear Mary and family-I am very sad to learn that Madonna passed away in July. I had such hopes that she would be able to beat her cancer. I went on line to check on her and learned the news. Madonna was patient one in Dr. Patel's lung cancer clinical study. My husband, Peter was patient number two. He died on August 17, 2016. May God comfort you and give you all strength to bear your loss. Susan Sonderby

Mrs. Burns will always be the best team soccer mom I will ever have. Her positive attitude towards life was infectious. My favorite memory of her was when she bought all the kids on the team a grey beanie with a wolf on it. She did this for two reasons: 1) Because our team's name was the Wolves, and 2) because I used to wear a black winter beanie (rain or shine- hot or cold). Everyone questioned me for wearing the beanie, so she had the kids show "everyone" that beanies were pretty cool - the kids all wore them. I still have the beanie she gave my daughter and I. That silly piece of cloth will always hold a special place in my heart.

Mrs. Burns, thank you for honoring my life by allowing me to not only be a part of yours, but for also being a part of Lucas and Tori's life as well...

I will Forever miss you...
I will forever miss your raspy, "Hi Coach!!!"

My condolences to the Burns family...
