Madonna June Galford

Madonna June Galford, 87, of Fairmont, WV, passed away on Sunday October 12, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born on March 16, 1938, in Flemington, WV, the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Dare (Moyer) Galford.
Madonna worked as a salesclerk for Fashon Bug, was a factory worker at Westinghouse-Owens Illinois. But her true calling was being a care giver for both of her parents. She was a Trustee at Carolina United Methodist Church, a member of United Methodist Women's Club, B Packetts of Owens Illinois, and Glass Bottle Blowers Association. She enjoyed reading, playing games on the computer, coloring, doing church work and making new friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Brian Alan Galford and his wife Teresa, grandchildren: Shawn Galford (Holly), Jesse Alan Galford (Ami), Sarah June Galford and Melissa Jean and Jason Cowger, great grandchildren: Addison M Cowger, Eli Jacob Cowger, Sadie Grace Rundle, Wyatt Colson Galford, Jackson "Jack" Ray Galford, Eleanora "Ellie" May Galford and Brandi Starrett.
Madonna was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ramona Lowther, grandson James Robert Starrett and grandparents Roy and Stella Moyer and Jesse and Chloe Galford.
Family and friends can gather at Carolina Methodist Church, 75 Main Street Carolina, WV on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm. Pastor Danny Blake and Pastor John Jett will officiate. A burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
