We Killmeyer Family kids were so sorry to hear of Mae's passing, especially so soon after Roy's. Our parents, Rich and Claire, were lifelong friends with Mae and Roy, as well as Len and June Ortmann. We vividly remember all of the family kids playing together back in the 50's and 60's, and have the old time home movies to show it! Cindy, Mary Beth, and Christine--your mom always had the greatest laugh and spirit, and loved to get together with June and Claire and Nora. She will be greatly missed.

My condolances to Cindy, Mary Beth, Christine, and their families. It feels as if a part of my childhood has been taken from me. I can still see Mae and my mother drinking coffee and laughing hysterically. We did not need caller id to know when my mum and Mae were on the phone; my mother's laughter said it all.

Smashing too many children into a VW bug, driving all over Pittsburgh, and "sampling" the candy from the open bin; these are a few of the memories I carry of Mae.

The world is a little sadder without her.

My deepest sympathies to Cindy, Mary Beth, Christine and their families for your loss. Mae was a very vivacious, outgoing and warm individual. Anyone who knew her will remember her fondly and she will be missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure to know her.
