It is with deep heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of a dearest friend, Mrs. Mae Carol Davis White who passed on, Thursday, March 5, 2026 surrounded by her family.. She was born in
Blacksburg, SC to the late, Eleazar Davis and Rebecca Lowery Davis . She was the devoted wife to her late husband, Delaney White, loving mother of five and cherished friend to many, Mrs. White's life was defined by her unwavering commitment to her family, her church, and the community she served.
Throughout her life, Mae as she was affectionately called, was known for her kind spirit, warm smile, and generous heart. She was a faithful and devoted member of her church, Rhema Praise & Worship Center, where she found great joy in worship, fellowship, and supporting others in their spiritual journeys. She enjoyed serving on the choir, as a Missionary, Pastor's Aide, Kitchen Committee and Flower Ministry. Her faith guided her life and was evident in the love and care she showed to her family and everyone she met.
Professionally, Mae worked for many years as a skilled Nail Technician. She took great pride in her work and built lasting relationships with the many clients who came to appreciate not only her talent, but also the kindness and encouragement she shared with them. For many, a visit with Mae was as uplifting as it was beautifying.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by children, Morpheus White, Robert White, Lureadian Vinson and Helena White; a sister, Jacqueline Davis, and brothers, Ceasar Davis, Thomas Davis and Horace Davis.
Above all, Mae treasured her role as a wife and mother. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family, nurturing her children and creating a home filled with love, strength, and faith. Her guidance, wisdom and unconditional love will continue to live on through the lives of her son, Romulus White, Salisbury, sister Mary Phillips (Pete), Salisbury; brothers, Benjamin Davis (Suzette), Salisbury; L.Z. Davis ( Elvia), Salisbury; grandchildren, Tempestt Vinson, Tyrone Vinson, Titus Vinson, Braylon Dailey, Briana Miles, Kedrick Granford, Bryan Solomon and Tennyson Moore; ten great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends..
Mae will be remembered for her devotion, her faith and her lasting impact she made on her family, friends, and community. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love and service will remain in the hearts of those who knew and love her.
Service: Monday, March 16, 2026 at Faith Temple Triumphant Ministries located at 900 E. Pinetree St.,
Salisbury, NC. Rev. Dr. Henry Diggs, pastor. Eulogist, Pastor Williams of Rhema Praise & Worship Center. Visitation: 12:30 pm-1:00 pm. Committal service will be held on, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, 1:30 pm at the US National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd.,
Salisbury, NC.
Gathering of family and friends will be held at the home located at 106 Hemlock Drive,
Salisbury, NC.
