Magalye Mars Mompoint, 60, of Maplewood, passed away on June 29th, 2024 at Memorial Sloan Kettering, in New York
Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange, NJ on Friday, July 5, from 6-9PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange on July 6th at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, in East Hanover.
Magalye was born in Cap Haitian, Haiti before immigrating to the United States. She earned her bachelor's degree in Management Science for Kean University. Magalye worked as an Administrator for the United Nations since 1992.
Magalye is predeceased by her father Menuau Mars. She is survived by her husband Ronald Mompoint, three children, Jared, James, Arielle, mother, Jacqueline Mars, sisters Regine Mars and Mary Jacqueline Mars.
