Maggie Alice Harrison (Trent), 85, of Mount Airy, Maryland, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born on February 3, 1940, in Tennessee to the late Raymond Trent and Minnie O. Drinnon Trent. On September 5, 1959, Maggie became a devoted wife to the late Robert C. Harrison.

At the age of 12, Maggie was born again at Cobbs Chapel in Tennessee and later relocated to Maryland, where she transferred her letter to Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. As a dedicated member of her church, she made significant contributions to her community.

Maggie was the loving mother of Michael Ray Harrison and his wife, Hope, and Stephen Noah Harrison Sr. and his wife, Bonnie. She took great pride in being a grandmother to Heather Godwin and her husband, Eddie; April Haines and her husband, Bruce; Stephen Harrison Jr. and his wife, Erica; and Jacob Harrison, and his significant other Brianna Stanley. Additionally, she was a cherished great-grandmother to Kendall, Troy, Levi, Gracelyn, Jamieson, Luke, and Natalie.

Professionally, Maggie worked at the Apple Butter factory in Sykesville, MD. She worked as a nurse at Rosewood for many years. Maggie retired after dedicating 15 years to HCPSS, where she served as a custodian. Maggie also owned and operated a cleaning business with her husband, Robert.

Maggie enjoyed her hobbies, particularly gardening and engaging in conversations with friends and family over the phone. She loved playing games, coloring with the grand kids and playing horse. She devoted her life to God, her family, and her church, earning a reputation as a wonderful friend to many.

Surviving are her sisters, Blanche Barth (Calvin), Yvonne Poole (John), Helen Robertson (Clarence), and sister in-law, Charlotte Trent. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Bruce Trent, Ronald Joe Trent, Laura Nadine Livesay, Janice McNally, and Mary O'Donnell.

Maggie loved everyone she came in contact with. We thank God for the time we had with her on earth.

We are truly thankful for the dedicated caregivers who have been by her side throughout this journey. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for Kimberly, Devin, and Logan Bankert, whose unwavering commitment and selflessness have made such a profound difference in our lives. We deeply appreciate Donna Miller for her caregiving expertise, which has been a source of comfort and reassurance. Brianna Stanley, thank you for your compassionate companionship; your ability to bring joy and a smile to her face has meant the world to us. We also want to extend a special thank you to Hank for his watchful and caring presence. Each of these remarkable individuals has played an essential role in enriching her quality of life through their kindness, companionship, and unwavering support.
