It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Magnolia Douglas, who left this world on August 10, 2024, at the remarkable age of 99. Born on May 1, 1925, Magnolia lived a life that was both poignant and inspiring, leaving an indelible mark on all those enough to know her.
Magnolia was a woman of strength and grace. Her gentle spirit was matched only by her unwavering love for her family and friends. Throughout life, she embodied kindness, always seeking to uplift those around her with her warm smile and comforting words. Magnolia found beauty in the simplest of moments and had an innate ability to bring joy to any gathering.
Her legacy will resonate deeply throughout her community. As we come together to celebrate her life, we invite friends and family to reflect on the countless memories shared with Magnolia. A viewing is scheduled for August 22, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, where loved ones can pay their respects and honor her memory.
Following the viewing, Magnolia's funeral service will be held on August 23, 2024, at 12:00 PM at St. Stephen Community Church in DeSoto, Texas. This will be a time for reflection, remembrance, and the heartfelt sharing of stories that celebrate a life well-lived.
Magnolia Douglas may have departed from this earthly realm, but she leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched.
