With a heart full of remembrance, we celebrate the life of Mahendra Manubhai Patel, a humble soul who enriched the lives of those around him with his creativity and wit. Born in the vibrant city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India on April 19, 1951, Mahendra spent his formative years in Karamsad before making his home in Edison, New Jersey.
An artist at heart, Mahendra found solace in his drawings, creating pieces that transcended beauty and spoke volumes of his understanding of the world. His work was admired by many and often featured in art shows at the local community Arts center. His creativity was not confined to the canvas alone..
Mahendra is survived by his loving children Ketan and Ankur Patel, and their partners Payal Patel and Akilah Evans, along with his adored grandchildren, Krish and Jasmine Patel. He is preceded in death by his parents, Manubhai and Indiraben Patel. His life will be honored in a Funeral Puja, Viewing & Last Rites ceremony on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 1:00pm EDT at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick Township, New Jersey.
