Mairion was born on July 28, 1933 in Kankakee, the daughter of Cecil L. and Velma (Parady) Smith Sr. She married Ralph E. Sparenburg on September 12, 1953 in Chebanse.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Lloyd; and three grandchildren, Amanda/Tommy Lee Sparenburg, James Martin, and Jason Martin.
A memorial visitation will be from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton.
Memorials may be made to Tim Sparenburg to help pay for family medical expenses.
