Maj McMahon Bradshaw passed away peacefully at home on January 8, 2024 at the age of 64. Maj was a lifetime resident of Belle Chasse, LA. She was a graduate of Archbishop Blenk C/O 1977 and a member of the Dovettes. She worked for the Jefferson Parish District Attorney Office. She was a member of the Krewe of Cleopatra for over 20 years and loved parading down the Avenue. She enjoyed Saints football, crafting, dancing, and cooking big meals for others. Her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth McCarthy McMahon and Edward John McMahon III.
Maj is survived by her loving husband Michael Bradshaw ; her children Jason Fortun (Dominique), Jessica Gibson (Dustin), Jeanne Goubert (Chad) ; stepchildren Jennifer Toursarkissian (Karim), Kyle Bradshaw, Casey Bradshaw ; her grandchildren Nico Fortun, Landen and Sophie Soileau, Jacob and Payton Goubert, Jaden and Jace Bradshaw, Kayla Sherwood (Sam) and Kelsey Bond, Alex and Ethan Toursarkissian, Alysia Cacioppo and Troy Cacioppo ; her great grandchild Ruby Sherwood ; her siblings Carthy Guillet (Tom) and Edward "Ned" McMahon IV ; her numerous cousins and lifelong friends.
The family wishes to thank Carl Gay, MD at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Scott Sonnier, MD and Grace Lemoine, RN at Crescent City Physicians and Ramsy Abdelghani, MD at Tulane Medical Center for their kindness, sincere caring, and unfaltering support.

A Celebration of Life will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA 70058, on January 11, 2024. Visitation from 11:30 am until 4:00 pm with a Mass immediately following in the Chapel. Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
