Malachi E. Eldridge

Funeral service for Malachi Ezekiel Eldridge of Cottonport will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Rev. Chris Augustine officiating. Burial will follow at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Cottonport.

Malachi E. Eldridge, age 8, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish his memory are mother, Mercedes Spradley (Dashawn); his father, Michael Paul Eldridge, Sr. (Meagan); his twin sister, Malaysia Eldridge, brothers, Michael Eldridge, Jr. and Josiah Harris; paternal grandmother, Michelle Eldridge (Johnny Turner); paternal grandfather, William Anderson (Joyce); maternal grandmother, Mary Spradley; maternal grandfather, Rev. Dr. Eric M. Bell (Rev. Kamala F. Bell); paternal great-grandmother, Annie Bell Eldridge; maternal great-grandmothers, Mary Bell, and Barbara Stewart (Christopher); maternal great-grandfather, Dr. William H. Bell, Sr. (Dr. Betty Bell); aunts and uncles, Chaquille Pate, Shanique Pate, Gavin Jones, Rochelle Eldridge, Justin Eldridge, Marcus Spradley.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
