Malachi "Chi-Chi" Marseille, of Burlington, New Jersey, was the first of five beautiful children born to Mirlande Marseille on November 24, 1999. He was born at the former Capital Health in Trenton and was 23 years old. Malachi was called home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick as a result of a car accident.
Malachi was educated in the Burlington School District and following graduation, attended Coppin State University where he would pursue a Business Administration degree. He subsequently gained employment at Volvo of Princeton, New Jersey where he worked as a Financial Advisor.
Malachi was a charmer with an infectious smile that would light up a room. You couldn't help but to feel happy when in his presence. Additionally, he was an avid athlete who loved playing basketball and going to the gym. His favorite athlete was Lebron James and his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved listening to music, especially his favorite artist, PartyNextDoor. He also loved to travel.
Malachi was a man who loved God; he loved to pray. He never missed the opportunity to pray over a meal, and to pray for his loved ones. He was a protector, and took pride in protecting his mother, Mirlande and his siblings. Malachi was a true go-getter. Whatever goal he set his heart on, he accomplished. A very special and endearing memory that will live on with his beloved family is one of Malachi celebrating his most recent birthday with his mother and siblings this past November.
Malachi leaves to cherish precious memories his loving mother, Mirlande; siblings, Xavier Marseille, Nya Marseille, Shekinah Marseille and Jedidah Marseille; adoring grandparents, Geosette and Jean Desane; devoted aunts, Edelyne Desane and Rachel Desane; uncle, Ruben Desane. His memory will live on with a very special cousin, Immanuel Desane.
Malachi's loving spirit will also be missed by a host of family and friends.
May your soul rest in Heaven, young king. We're going to miss you!
