To know Malcolm, was to love Malcolm. He illuminated as very unique bright light during his time here. He now will be shining down guiding and lighting the night sky for us. He was a man who wore many hats and he wore them all so well. The most vital entity that he possessed was his kindness and rare genuine heart He came bearing hugs and smiles for all in his path and journey throughout this life. Malcolm was such a loving and caring person, someone who never lost his composure or acted without thinking of the other end of the spectrum and what the outcome would be. He would not tolerate or allow toxicity, he only welcomed love and good juju. He was a one love kind of dude He was that guy who was larger than life.
Some of his finest qualities included him being such an amazing son, big brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend, friend, human being, chef, nature lover and scientist! He loved his parents and family tremendously, never missing a moment of celebration or the opportunity to just spend that quality time with them. He was the epitome of a family guy. Malcom took such great care of his little brother Roy, the two had 17 years between them but that never changed or altered the relationship they had. They were like peas and carrots those two. Roy was so blessed to have been given the brother he had. His parents did a superb job of creating the man he became.
Malcolm showed up every day with a smile and a positive outlook on life, he has never once made us guess his purity to others or this planet. He added so much love, laughter and happiness to his family, friends and all that knew him.
We will never understand why God chose him to come home so soon. Malcolm was the dictionary definition of genius, things that he accomplished in his life for his education and career have been so admirable. As the famous saying goes, "not all superheroes wear capes", well this is true of Malcolm. He was an everyday superhero who didn't have the fancy cape to flash in the wind! He was currently working for Northwell Health in the labs trying to find a cure for cancer, that right there makes him a hero.
Everyone who cared and loved him were so proud to have him in their lives. Please always be sure to say his name and make sure that we the people love one another, take care of this earth and show up every day eager to love and learn with a smile Just like Mal. He loved the outdoors, wilderness, exploring it all, he especially loved it if he was able to take his skate board with him on that adventure. Malcolm was there for anyone who needed him, he never expected or wanted anything in return.
His family and friends are going to miss his presence beyond words, to say it is a devastation and tragedy is an understatement. Anyone who was blessed to have known him will always be a better person because he was part of their world.
Malcolm, we loved you yesterday, we love you today and we will love you till we take my last breath. We all look forward to our reunion one day, until then we will miss him drastically.

July 28th I had a cancer benefit for my cousin. Junior´s Eyes were going to play. On July 27th at 4:58pm I received a text from Mark that the singer´s son had passed. We were all in shock to hear a 33 year old had passed. It really shook us to the core. Mark had sent me the obituary as I had asked him to let me know the details.
In reading this tribute to Malcolm and how amazing he was, is absolutely breathtaking. On behalf of me and my cousin we offer our condolences to Malcolm´s family and friends.
Malcolm may you fly high with the angels and continue to watch over your family.
