Coach Malcolm Charles (M.C.) Miller at age 75 embraced his new home with his Heavenly Father and while Heaven gained a coach, Mississippi lost a legend. He jubilantly roamed Mississippi High school football sidelines for 52 years, impacting the lives of youth with his passion and dedication.
Funeral service will be Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025 at 2 p.m., from Louisville High School Auditorium, 200 Ivy Street, Louisville, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Zion Church Cemetery, 48 New Zion Road, Louisville, MS. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman Turnipseed and Katie Miller and his First wife, Genette Harper Miller.
The Miller family continues to cherish M. C.'s memories. His beloved family includes; wife, Patricia Miller, Louisville, MS; Children; Philicia Wordlaw (Gary) of West Point, MS, LaShonda Kidd (Tyrone) of Madison, MS, Annette Monk of Miami, FL., Malcolm "Bo" Miller, Jr. of Southaven, MS, Katina Dooley of Atlanta, GA, Montez Miller of Dallas, TX, Tremond Miller (Monica) of Louisville, MS, Cornelius Miller (Yvonne) of Davenport, Iowa; his nephew/son, Carey Miller (Lillie) of Louisville, MS; one godchild, Nakelia Lockett; 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Walter Scott Harper of Chicago, IL; four sisters-in-law; Martha Lou Hannah of Las Vegas, NV, Lois Prince (Eugene) of Las Vegas, NV, Mary Goss (Alvin) of Louisville, MS. and Barbara Fair of Clinton, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends, players, coaches and his beloved hometown of Louisville, MS.
