Malcolm (Mike) Floyd Scruggs Jr. 74, passed away February 6, 2024 at Aiken Regional Hospital. He was a member of the Bapist Church and loved God.
He was born in Waycross, GA on April 21, 1949 to Mary L. Lloyd Scruggs and the late Malcolm F. After retiring from TVA, he went into the nuclear industry where he worked at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Spring City, TN., Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Soddy Daisy TN. and Savannah River Site Aiken SC where he retired as a Principle Engineer. He served in the Army Reserves and Army National Guard. He was a very loving father who always took care of his children and grand-kids. He was a reserved man of few words but he was very willing to do anything for anyone and an exceptional caregiver for his family. His favorite pastime was fishing. He loved to travel, being outdoors, farming, the beach, vacationing and making memories with his family, western movies, accompanying his grandson at the shooting range, and spending time at his cabin in the Georgia Mountains.
