Malcolm Eldred Norton, 80, of Coleman, Florida passed away in Leesburg, Florida on September 12, 2025. He was born in Fort Pierce, Florida on May 9, 1945 to Eldred and Marie Norton. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the VFW, post 10084 of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida and the American Legion. He did two tours in Vietnam. After his time in the military, he became a meat cutter for Skaggs-Albertons and Winn-Dixie. He loved his beloved wife, being outdoors, telling stories, animals (especially his cats), fishing and jobs working in his yard. He is survived by: his brother: William (Debbie) Norton of Center Hill, Florida; Sister: Marilyn Odom of, Nobleton, Florida; Great Uncle: Eugene Adams of Warner Robbins, Georgia; Nieces: Clyde (Steve) Dye of Augusta, Georgia, Stacee (Brian) Newsome of Wahoo, Florida; Nephews: Noel Odom of Center Hill, Florida, Taw Norton of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, Doug Norton of Center Hill, Florida; Great Nieces and Nephews; one Great Great Nephew and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Marie Norton; Both parents Ellis Eldred Norton and Marie Norton Boulle; Brothers: Richard Douglas Norton, Nathan Riley Norton and nephew; James Eric Odom.
