Malek Y. Qaqish

Malek Y. Qaqish 65 of Hyde Park passed away on Saturday July 12, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Salt Jordan he was the son of Yousef and Samaya Qaqish. On August 14, 1983 at St. Mary's Church in Yonkers Malek married Juliet Zeidan. Malek worked as a Mechanic for the Dutchess Couty Loop Bus System retiring in 2010. Malek has been a resident for over 40 years. He was a member of the Free Mason and St. James Antiochian Orthodox Church. Malek had his own Ice Cream Truck that was called BAM and he had a love for Cars. Malek is survived by his wife Juliet of Hyde Park, daughter Lisa Aldeir (George) of Hyde Park, son Seif Qaqish (Kate) of Poughkeepsie, daughter Laura Qaqish (Bsharah) of California, son Said Qaqish (Shana) of Germantown, 6 grandchildren, brothers and sisters Seif Qaqish, Said Kakish, Qais Qaqish, Nuhaila Qaqish, Berta Ababseh, Ikhlas Aldeir and Hanan Fakhoury. Malek was predeceased by Suhila Qaqish and Suad Sayes.
