Mandy Layne Stone, 34, died on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
Born July 19, 1990 in Clear Lake, Texas, Mandy grew up in Elizabeth, Colorado. At the time of her death Mandy resided in Monument, Colorado.
Mandy is survived by her much-loved daughter Bailey Emma Settle; her parents, Michael Emmanuel Stone and Donna Gayle Stone; her sister Heather Lynne Stone, brother Randall Wayne Stone, grandmother Lynne Embree, nephews Brayden Lucas Stone and Mason Robert Greenlee and niece Hayley Marie Greenlee. She is also survived by numerous loved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including Bailey's father Joe Settle and grandfather Steve Settle.
Mandy is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roger and Charlene Blackwell, her paternal grandfather Randall Stone, her paternal step-grandfather Robert Embree, her cousin Brett Tribble and Bailey's grandmother Wendy Settle.
Mandy went by many titles: Daughter, Grand-Daughter, Sister, Niece, Friend, Panda, Mo, Mammy and most importantly Mom. She was a very loving person, and a fierce protector of her family and friends!
Mandy loved her job working at Tuff Shed. She loved going to movies and music concerts. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was a die-hard Denver Broncos fan, completely abandoning her Texas roots and family members rooting for the Dallas Cowboys or Houston Texans. She was not shy about declaring her love for the Broncos whether they won or lost.
Most importantly, Mandy loved spending time with Bailey Emma. Sharing her love of music with her, dressing up to go to movies, going to Granny's house to play with the fairy house.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Parker Funeral Home, 10325 Parkglenn Way, Parker, Colorado. In honor of Mandy's love for the Broncos, please feel free to wear your favorite sports jersey/shirt.
The funeral service will take place at Parker Funeral Home on Friday, September 27, beginning at 11:00 a.m., with a procession to and burial at the Elizabeth Cemetery, 598 W. Kiowa Avenue, Elizabeth, Colorado

I just heard the news this morning. I never met Mandy, but we spoke many times on the phone. She was such a pleasant person, when you got off the phone with her you always had a smile on your face.
My staff and I at Midwest Garage Door Colorado Springs sends our condolences to all her family and friends. She will be missed.
