Manfred was born October 21, 1943 in Germany to Theodore and Agnes Arens. He was formerly employed by Dish Network, Whirlpool Corporation, and most recently Bosch, retiring in 2008 after 25 years of service. Manfred was a very devoted and loving husband and father who always found a way to smile. He did multiple jobs and whatever it took to give us the life we have today. Manfred was very intelligent and hard working who always brought a positive attitude to any situation he was in. So many people were affected by his smile and his laughter, he will be sorely missed.
Manfred is survived by his wife Doris whom he married in 1973; two sons, Carl Arens of St. Joseph, Missouri and Rich Arens of Coloma; a brother and sister Gerhardt Arens and Magdalena Mueller both of Germany
