Manmeet Singh, affectionately known as Mani, was born on January 20, 1980, in Fairfax, Virginia. After a life filled with memorable moments and cherished relationships, he passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2026, in his hometown of Fairfax, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Mani was an exuberant, multi-talented individual with a unique way of assembling and expressing his gifts. He held a Lincoln Technology degree in Automotive Technology and was also skilled as an electronics technician. He moved through life with creativity, resilience, and deep empathy. Those in his company felt uplifted and understood—Mani had a rare ability to leave a positive and lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
Mani faced personal challenges in life, and despite his strength, his life was cut short. He was so much more than his struggles. He was someone who mattered, whose life had meaning, and whose memory will live on through those who loved him.
In the words of Guru Granth Sahib Ji:
“ ”
“Whoever is born must one day depart; this is the order of the Divine.”
Mani was preceded in death by his father, Swaran Singh. He is lovingly survived by his mother, Simrat Singh; his sister, Harjot Singh; his brother-in-law, Daniel Vogel; and his nephews, Anand Vogel and Vasant Vogel.
Arrangements are entrusted to Carewell Cremations.
