Manny Charlton

My heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to the entire Charlton family and fans worldwide... I first saw, and met one of the greatest rock guitarist and song writer's in music history, in 1980 on their No Mean City tour at the Palladium, Theater. NYC... They opened up with Telegram and steamrolled through the rest of their high energy, powerful set. I got to meet Manny, Dan and the rest of Nazareth for the first time after the show outside as they were getting into their limo's... I have been to 500+ shows in the 57 years I've been on this earth, and that 1980 show goes down as one of my top 10 shows of all time! Dan and Manny... Rest In Peace Boys.... Georgie Ajamian. \m/

Thank you, and the band for your awesome music. You were opening for Deep Purple in Abilene, Texas in 1975. It was my first concert. My favorite band from then on!

Another great rock star leaves us. I saw Nazareth many times whenever they played Vancouver. Such a great loss.

I went through my late teens and well into my later life following Nazareth. Manny’s guitar and lyrics just made everything exciting. Lucky enough to have seen his genius in concert many times. God Bless You and Thank You for all the Great Rock and Ballads.

The soundtrack of my youth . The soulful vibes and riffs in "love hurts " , really made love hurt . RIP Manny .

That show still ranks as one of my top five live shows of all time! Thanks for the great music and memories R.I.P Manny.... \m/
