Well, we celebrated our 2nd Thanksgiving without you this year. Your presence was truly missed. So many memories of you whenever I drive by your house, or go out to eat at places we would go. Someone else has moved in, but it will always be your house in my mind...I see it just like it was for so many years. I miss you Uncle Manny, but am comforted in knowing that you are happy and at peace with Aunt Carmen, your parents, & brothers and sisters that you missed so much....

Hard to believe that tomorrow, it will be one year since you left us. I miss you so much at times, the memories of your presence is everywhere. I find myself sitting in your favorite chair whenever I go to your house....your house pretty much the same as you left it. I know you are happy & at peace, surrounded by the family you missed so much. You definitely left your mark here on earth, you were a good man, a great Son, helping your family whenever there was a need. Rest in Peace Uncle Manny, pray for us, and thank you for all the memories you left behind

My first memories of Unce Manny was as a child. He was very handsome and always well dressed in slacks, shirt, tie, or suit. Florsheim shoes, classy. He and Mom were always close so he & Aunt Carmen would join us for our Family gatherings if they were in town. He was a devoted family man, took care of his parents (our grandparents) until they died. He was also very generous when it came to helping his brothers & sisters. As he & Aunt Carmen got older and heath issues arose, my sisters and I became the people he would call for help & assistance. So, for the last several years, we were able to spend a lot of time with them both. We became even closer to him during this time, sharing lots of conversations and memories , lots of days at his home. To say that I will miss him seems not enough. I'm happy that he is with A Carmen and his family that he loved and missed so much. Rest in Peace Uncle Manny , thank you for all the memories.....

My first memories of Uncle Manny date back to the late 60´s / early 70´s. My family lived on the same block as Uncle Manny and Aunt Carmen on W. Drew St. My brother Richard and I spent so much time outdoors riding our trikes and bikes as we grew up together. We would see Uncle Manny driving to and from his house driving his car in and out of the attached garage. His house was the nicest on the block. His big yard was well kept. He dressed sharply. I assumed my Aunt and Uncle were loaded!

He always had a kind word for us. Aunt Carmen would buy candy when we would sell World´s Finest Chocolates for our school. He was the nicest man to me growing up.

They eventually moved to their current home but Manny always greeted me with a warm welcome when we would see each other later in life. He welcomed my wife Jennifer into the family. He was just a good man.

He´s the last of my Granny´s (Carmen) generation and I´ll mourn his passing for a long time. Rest in heavenly peace.
