Manuel DeJesus Gomez was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, on September 14, 1957, and passed away on December 4, 2025.
Manuel built a life grounded in hard work and unwavering dedication to his family, leaving a legacy of devotion, laughter, and love that will be cherished forever. He was a loving husband to Martina Gomez, and a proud brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather whose joy was contagious and ever-present. Manuel’s spirit shines brightest in the simple, beautiful moments – joking with loved ones, smiling and laughing to the rhythm of his favorite music, and gathering everyone together for carne asada.
Family and friends remember the way he brought people close, filling the room with warmth, stories, and the comforting scent of a meal made with care. He loved deeply with all his heart, especially his beloved wife and family, and he showed it in countless everyday acts of kindness.
He is survived by his children and their spouses Lucilla and Brian, Blas and Brandy, Marta and Roger, Rebecca and Jorge, Manuel Jr. and Celia, Jesus and Crystal, and Julie and Mikel. He is also lovingly remembered by 10 grandsons, 9 granddaughters, and 12 great grandchildren, each a testament to the enduring family Manuel and Martina nurtured together.
Those who knew Manuel will carry forward his loving example, his easy laughter, and his joy in bringing people together. May the echo of his music, the warmth of his gatherings, and the depth of his love continue to bless all who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.
