Manuel Ibarra

On behalf of the Lopez family (Richard and Gloria) and the men and women of the CELSIUS Band, we offer our condolences to the Ibarra family. Manuel's love of music brought us together...I came to know Manuel as a true gentleman and servant leader. He would always call me with his ideas for songs to play and to find out where the band was performing. May he rest in peace. Richard and Gloria Lopez

Manuel and I served in the department together. I was on the first Shields retreat with him, l lend him my dress uniform when he got promoted. He was my friend and brother. I will miss him.

To the Ibarra family, please accept my sincerest condolences. Manuel and I attended Thomas Jefferson together and have always thought highly of him as have so many of our classmates. On graduation night, we sat next to each other during a four hour ceremony, halfway through, I turned to Manuel and said I don't feel well and need to leave! As I got up to leave, Manuel grabbed my arm and sat me back down and said, you'll be fine. He was right! I've always remembered that night and how he came through for me. Manuel was a true friend of our family. My brothers and I went to grade school with Manuel and his sisters, and Manuel was in the Fire department with two of my brothers. If Manuel wasn't smiling, he was contemplating something...and then he would smile again.

Manuel was a caring, hardworking Firefighter and Paramedic. He was in our EMS class, and was a delight. God rest your soul, Brother. Condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Manuel's passing. I attended St. Mary Magdalen with Leticia and remember how strong and protective he was of his sisters. May God wrap his loving arms around all those who love Manuel to comfort and heal you at this difficult time. Hugs to you Letty!

Nancy, I'm so sorry for your loss. Manuel was a good, good man, a great husband and father. He lived a true life of service.

There are simply not enough positive adjectives to say about this wonderful fun loving giving man! Manuel was a warrior for God, a loving husband and father! He had a servants heart and could always be counted on to lending a helping hand. Manuel was a great friend and supporter. Taken way too soon, Manuel you will be missed. Your legacy of love, helpfulness and faith will live forever!

Dear Nancy, Claudia, Christina and Cynthia. Our condolences on the loss of Manny. He was a man's man and a brother's brother. It has been my honor to serve with him at St Luke's with the KOC and ACTS.
His outstanding life served others and he is at peace. Manuel has finally been healed in the hands of the Lord.

Manuel truly was a servant of the Lord. He had a wonderful way about him.He knew how to get things done and encourage others to join in. Manuel was a man among man. He was one of the finest men that Richard and I called friend. He will be sorely missed but we know that he will be watching us from above. One of his favorite expressions was "fugetabout it." By that he meant we got this and don't worry about it.We love you and so glad that you came into our lives.
