With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Manuel R. Ibarra Jr., who peacefully departed this world on November 23, 2024, at his residence in Weslaco, TX. Born on January 22, 1951, Manuel was a dedicated family man, beloved husband to Mary Ibarra.

Manuel, a devoted Christian, found solace in his faith and treasured moments spent with his family. His love for hunting and golf brought him immense joy and relaxation throughout his life. His genuine, kind-hearted nature, and his ability to bring laughter to any room with his jokes, will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Forever cherished by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, grandchildren, and extended family, Manuel leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and love that will continue to resonate with all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mr. Ibarra is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Manuel Ibarra Sr. & Mrs. Maria Alicia Reyes Ibarra and his brother, Ramiro Abel Ibarra.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Mary C. Ibarra; his son, Manuel " Trey" Ibarra III; his daughters, Veronica (Ruben) Lopez, Celine (Jesse) Perez; his honorary daughter, Ivonne Desiga; his brothers, Luis Ibarra, Benigno Ybarra, Gerardo Ibarra; his sisters, Helena Cavazos, Maggie Ibarra, Diana Ibarra; his grandchildren, Ruben A. Lopez, Jesse Perez, Alexander Lopez, Robyn Lopez and his great-grandchildren, Rubina Lopez, Ruben A. Lopez Jr., Penelope Lopez.

As per his wishes, Mr. Ibarra will be cremated at a later date at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

In honoring Manuel's life, we reflect on the memories shared and the love that will always bind us together. May his spirit find eternal peace and may his memory live on in the hearts of all those who were touched by his light.
