Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Norma S. Martinez; children, Manuel C. (Monica) Martinez, III., Ricardo Humberto (Laura) Martinez, Jorge Daniel (Georgiana) Martinez and Norma Leticia (Samuel) Martinez Cardenas; grandchildren, Sarah, Kayla, Josh, Ryan, Celeste, Ricky Jr., Alejandro, Rockelle, Robert, Tatiana, Juan and Sammy; siblings, Juan (Gloria) Martinez, Maria (+Raul) Soliz and Diana (Rich) Rueweler; as well as great grandchildren, other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.
Meme loved his work in the oilfield where he built a career as respected drilling superintendant, where his expertise, leadership, and unwavering work ethic earned him the admiration of colleagues and crews alike. He approached every challenge with diligence, safety and calm steady hand. Outside of the profession, Manuel was a passionate hunter and outdoorsman, cherishing time spent with his family. He embraced every moment with humor, patience and a quiet generosity that touched everyone he met. Manuel's legacy lives on in the lessons he taught, the hard work he embodied, and the love he shared with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The Martinez family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will be recited in the evening. The chapel will reopen at 7:00 am on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 to depart at 8:40 am for a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
