Manuel Morales

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Manuel Morales, age 90, of Deltona, Florida on January 3rd, 2026. He was born on November 26, 1935, in Villalba, Puerto Rico to Jose and Anastacia Morales. Manuel will be remembered for his love, humor, and dedication to his family. Manuel was preceded in death by his loving wife Josefina Morales, his grandson Jaime Colon and his great grandson Lance Emmett Laboy. Manuel is survived by his sister Virginia Cedeno and daughters Margie (Luis) Laboy, Carmen (Reinaldo) Roche, Maria Colon and son Juan (Judith) Colon. He was also an uncle to William Cedeno, Carlos & Pedro Gonzalez, Elba Gonzalez DeJesus, and Carmen Robbins. He was a grandfather to six grandchildren: Luis (Demetria) Laboy Jr., Linda (Allan) Terrutty, Maribel Hollingshead, Isabel Laboy, Christina (Haun) Porter and Juan Colon Jr. He was also a great grandfather of fourteen: Raymond Luis, Demetria Marcella, Devin Raymond Laboy, Edgardo and Celeste Delfi, Mercedes and Alyssa Rivera, Willson and Jordyn Terrutty, Darrin and Marcus Hollingshead and Barry Jr., Anissa and Marissa King. In this time of sorrow, let us remember Manuel for his humor, his love for playing cards and dominoes. He will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will never be forgotten. Funeral service for Manuel will be held on Tuesday, January 13th, 10:00 AM at Casey & Rios Funeral Home 4540 West Diversey Ave., Chicago, IL 60639. Interment Maryhill.
