Manuel Ojeda

Manuel Ojeda was my relative. I never got a chance to meet him in person. He was my mother’s uncle on her mother’s side. My mother’s names was Maria Francisca Domínguez Ojeda from La Paz Baja California Sur. Rest in peace to both of them. I hope they are both in heaven. May God bring strength.

Mr. Manuel Ojeda was one of the most popular actors in Mexico who is known to U.S. audiences for his role as the villain Colonel Zolo in “Romancing the Stone. May the love and the special memory you shared with him show just how much your life was touched by him. We hope many of the encouraging words and thoughts on this site comforts you during this difficult time also. May family, friends and extended family find comfort in your wealth of fond memories together and cherish his memories. My friends and I still quote Romancing when we get together, and it is nearly 40 years after the movie's release. Zolo was a legendary character.
