Manuel Pizana Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory - Brownsville on Oct. 21, 2022.
Manuel Pizaña, 30, of Brownsville Texas a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, entered into the Pastures of Heaven on October 16th, 2022. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on May 25th, 1992.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Damiana & Manuel Pizaña and Lolita & Julian Garza.
Left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy is his family & MP Racing, and his Outstanding Team, Pizaña Racing.
He will be greatly missed but his memories and his legacy will continue. He is survived by his wife, Selina Veronica Gomez, children Fernanda, Manuel Jr, and Mikaela. His beloved parents Rolando and Alma Pizaña. His siblings Alma (David), Rolando (Lalis), Imelda, Marlen (Armando), Miguel (Mayra). As well numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Manuel's biggest dream was becoming a well-known and respected horse trainer internationally. He enjoyed traveling from state to state, leaving his legacy. He accomplished that, in his short life. He left many experienced and accomplished trainers, speechless by his bravery, audacity, and knowledge. He learned from the best, and never stopped learning and innovating his techniques. Always making others dream, while giving them the courage and bravery to accomplish that. Manuel not only excelled in Horse Racing, but became An Entrepreneur in the Alfalfa Business, Hauling New Mexico Alfalfa to the southern States, making sure that everyone's Horses had the top quality of Alfalfa. Manuel enjoyed all kind of sports, as long as bets could be made, Tito and him were always making sure there was money made! Not only did he make it big in the Horse Racing Community, but also in the Rooster Industry, "Kilate Game Farm", was also well known! His mentor Fernando Garcia, always old School, kept that going!
"A tragic accident occurred yesterday were two very dear people in Texas State racing field lost their lives"
The amount of compassion and thoughtfulness that people displayed was quite astounding. He was one of the kindest and least self-centered people that anyone could ever have the privilege of getting to know, he was the epitome of compassion and generosity. Manuel was a kind person all the time, and he didn't show his kindness to just one person; he showed it to everyone. Manuel had a heart of gold, and an unbelievable amount of bravery, and he emitted a brilliant light; he will be remembered for all of eternity. He was considerate and sympathetic, and he just never put his own needs, ahead of the needs of other people. He was always willing to compromise, he was thoughtful and caring. He never let an opportunity pass without smiling, whenever he was aware that another person was watching him. He never missed a chance to crack a grin and would always do so. I do not know why I didn´t find out about Manuel´s passing until today. I am so extremely sad to hear. Manuel was my student in high school; an outstanding loyal, funny and intelligent student. I wish I could have gone to give my sincerest condolences in person, I am very sorry I did not. My sincerest and most heart felt condolences to Manuel´s family; wife, children, parents and siblings. I can´t imagine the hole he has left in your hearts because he leaves one in mine too. I hope you can still receive my condolences today.
