Manuel Ramirez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Calvary Funeral Home - Irving on Apr. 13, 2026.
October 1, 1928 – April 1, 2026

Manuel Angel Ramirez lived a truly blessed 97 years, leaving behind a legacy rooted in faith, love, and family. A godly man, his greatest wealth was not measured in material things, but in the five generations of family he nurtured, guided, and loved so deeply.

Manuel spent 95 years of his life in Dallas, Texas, where he built a life filled with devotion to his family. He was lovingly cared for by his daughter Minerva Arredondo during those years. In the final two years of his life, he resided in Irving, Texas, where he was tenderly cared for by his daughter Hilda Ramirez.

He was a devoted father to his son Martin Ramirez and daughters Minerva Arredondo, Celia Ramirez, and Hilda Ramirez. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margarita Ramirez, and his children Armando Ramirez, Irene Margaret Romero, Raul Ramirez, and Teresa Moreno.

He was a proud grandfather, a cherished great-grandfather, and a beloved great-great-grandfather. His life was a living example of strength, humility, and unwavering faith.

One of his greatest lessons to his children and family was simple yet powerful: always keep God first. That message became the foundation of the generations that followed him.

Manuel will be remembered as a man of deep faith, quiet strength, and enduring love. His presence was a blessing, and his life a testimony to what truly matters. We were truly privileged to have had such an incredible man in our lives for so many years. His legacy will continue to live on in each of us through the love, values, and faith he instilled.

He will be honored and saluted for his service in the military, a reflection of his dedication and commitment to his country.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
