Manuel, you were my best friend and you’ll always be my brother. Life is full of regrets, and my biggest regrets, will be as long as I live, the amount of time we wasted not being around each other. If I look in the mirror and be honest, it was me, not you and it kills me. I’m thankful we had just enough time to do our art, your TRUE art, and do it the way we both wanted. The cut came out perfect, for us. That said, losing you has made me a better man, as I’ll never take my loved ones for granted again. Unfortunately I had to learn that one, in one of the hardest ways possible. I’ll never get over having to say goodbye. You’ll always be in my heart. One of my life’s honors, calling you my one and only true friend. I can honestly say, I truly knew who you were, as a man, fully. We saw the good, the bad and the ugly in each other, fight like cats and dogs, but even after all that, we can genuinely look at each other and say, I love you, my man. We shared the same dreams and aspirations. You were more of a rock for me than I ever realized. I miss you everyday. Rest easy, my brother, we’ll jam again, even if it’s just the two of us, like it had been at times, the best times. I love you, my guy, my buddy, my friend.

Manny, when I think about probably the happiest time in my life, it's when you and Mindee and Mike and I played in Azteca Frame together. We had a lot of great times and I can't believe you're gone. You are very missed by so many.

Manny, I could honestly say I would not be here today if it wasn’t for you. We helped each other through high school’s hardest darkest times and had our first jobs together at Dennis Uniform which your aunt got us. You encouraged me to continue playing music when others didn’t believe in me. You were the best musician I knew in school but were humble about it and always brought up friends and the community around you. I managed The Gimps one of your first bands because I believed in you as well. When that ended and I asked you about jamming with your drummer Eric you were only supportive. That bond and friendship led me to the life I have now with my wife and child because of the music I created thanks to your support. As we grew older I was always excited about our Sunday’s listening and jamming to Breakfast with The Beatles which we did from the beginning. I am proud that you would give me the credit for getting you into The Beatles. I remember my dad would take us to see the Fab Four every year after high school and we would bump them before and after school at my house since I lived in front of Franklin. Those were amazing times. Most recently I was excited to have gotten you a job at my work which I knew you would nail. It made me so happy to see you have a job where people believed in you as I did and start seeing you head into a direction of less back breaking stuff that we all do at times into more of using all the skills and knowledge you had in you. You also recently took over my rehearsal space with your group Richard Ramirez Beatdown when I went on tour and then hiatus and kept checking in on me and my art. It meant the world and it reminded me how you were always a pure hearted caring friend. That’s one thing all that were lucky enough to know you share is that you were an incredible friend. I’ve been so devastated since your passing..you’ll live on through us all. You’ll be in the wind, the mountains, the sky and beyond. I’ll never forget you and all you did for me. Rest In Peace brother, the world won’t ever be the same without you.

Doesn’t seem real, and certainly doesn’t seem fair. RIP Manny. It’s gonna be hard not seeing you at shows, and talking rasslin’ and places to get some good greasy, greasy grub.
