Manuel V. Rodriguez

Manuel V. Rodriguez, age 66, passed away on June 6, 2016. Manuel was born on November 8, 1949 to Manuel I. and Margarita Rodriguez. He graduated from Foy H. Moody High School in Corpus Christi. Manuel was employed by DuPont in Corpus Christi and New Jersey as a Senior Research Chemist. Manuel enjoyed watching sports and attending the Super Bowls with his son and nephews. Manuel will be remembered for his generous gift to college students. He will always be remembered for his devotion to the Catholic Church, to his family and his dedication to his work. He loved spending time with his granddaughters and his friends. Manuel was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and uncle. He his preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Monica Kristina Rodriguez, his father, his sister-in-law Patricia Rodriguez, mother-in-law Herlinda Lopez: sister-in-law Armandina Rodriguez and Brother-in-law Juan Rodriguez. Manuel is survived by the love of his life, Mary Lopez Rodriguez; son Mark Phillip: daughter-in-law Meg Litz Rodriguez; granddaughters Monica Kristina, Morgan Julia; brothers Jesse V., Richard, Jerry, Joe, George, Robert; sister Connie; numerous nieces, nephews; brother-in-law Pete Lopez and sister-in-law Mari Siegmund. A special thanks to the staff at the ICU at Post Acute Medical Unit and Doctor Ramos. A Funeral Service will be held at a later date in Cherry Hill, NJ at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Colestown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Santa Monica Catholic Mission c/o Diocese of Laredo in Memory of Monica and Manuel Rodriguez, P.O.
