Manuela Victoria Morales

Manuela Victoria "Vicky" Morales, age 99, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, February 23.
Born in New York City, Vicky joined the workforce during high school and became a bookkeeper. After marrying her husband Angel Rigoberto "Rigo" Morales in 1957, successfully raised five children: Mary Ellen, Joann, Stephen, Cynthia, and David. Thereafter, Vicky threw herself into volunteering at Church, becoming active in the League of Women Voters and volunteering as a Fairfax County Poll Worker. Following Rigo's death in 2008, she dedicated her life to the Third Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel.
She is survived by her children Joann Altiero, Stephen Morales, Cynthia Rogers, and David Morales as well as her Daughter in-law Cathy Morales, and son in-law Randy Rogers. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Stephanie, Austin, Brynn; and her great-grandson, Jackson.
Vicky will be remembered for her unwavering support, enduring love for her family, and her deep commitment to her faith. All who knew her were touched by her kindness and warmth.
Service Details: A public viewing will be held on March 4, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax VA. A Catholic Burial Mass will be celebrated on March 5, at 12:00 noon at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 5121 Woodland Way, Annandale, VA, followed by immediate burial at Fairfax Memorial Park at 1:00 PM. Flowers may be sent directly to the funeral home, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Hospice Foundation.
