Marcel Desaulniers

I am incredibly sorry for his wife, family and friends for the loss of Marcel. Although I wasn't personally acquainted, his mastery in pastry art and chocolate had a huge impact on me. He will live on in his works and in the hearts and minds of every pastry chef and chocolatier who attempt to reach his level of mastery.

So sorry to hear this. I worked my way through grad school at the Trellis, and made friends there that I´m still close to decades later. Marcel woke me up to the revolution that was happening in American cooking, and made me the foodie I am today. He was a total inspiration. Love to his family.

Connnie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Working with you accelerated my career in ways I can't convey. I hope that you are still painting - it would be a shame if you're not!
