Marceline Alviti

Marceline (Zizza) Alviti, 91, of Revere, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester.
Marceline was born in Everett on October 9, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose (Famolare) Zizza. Marceline spent her early childhood in Revere where she attended Revere High School and later moved to East Boston where she raised her family. She was a devoted wife and mother who worked alongside her husband "Tootsie" for many years in the restaurant business. She enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting casinos, and ballroom dancing.
She was the beloved wife of the late Americo John "Tootsie" Alviti with whom she shared 67 years of marriage until his passing in 2018. Devoted mother of Steven Alviti and his wife Susan of Revere, Gina Maggio and her husband Paul of Lakeworth Beach, FL., and the late Gerald "Gerry" Alviti. Adored grandmother of Anissa Fusco, Gerald Alviti, Jr., Jessica Langley and her husband Andre, Vincent Alviti and his wife Nicole, Vanessa Alviti, and Erika Maggio. The cherished great grandmother of Gianna, Adrianna, Gino, Andre, and Olivia. Dear sister of Salvatore Zizza and Maryann of Revere and the sister in law of Arnold Alviti and Franny. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Marceline will be laid to rest with her husband at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
