Marcy was a friend and classmate of my sister, Caroll Borkalow Nigon. I reconnected with Marcy during COVID (per a request from my sister, Caroll, who had just suffered a brain bleed) . Marcy and I spoke frequently. We shared many fond memories of Maternity BVM, the OLD neighborhood, our parents , our siblings (Linda) students , golf, and future endeavors. Marcy reconnected with my sister, Caroll and brought Caroll much good cheer. Marcy, thank you for all you did to inspire and compliment the young, challenged and determined colleagues, friends and family. You are an inspiration and your work was noticed. Thank you for many phone calls filled with memories and laughter.
You will fondly be remembered.

I met Marcy teaching at Thomas Middle School. We immediately hit it off. Marcy was so conscientious, respectful and kind to the children. She truly enjoyed what she was doing and it showed. She was so vibrant and full of life. She had a special twinkle in her eye, a sparkle that will be missed deeply. She once gave me some extremely sage advice, which I followed with very positive results and for that I will always thanks her. She made a difference in so many lives. I hope she knew how special she was. I will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathies go out to her friends and family and all who knew her. It is difficult to accept that she is gone. Rest in peace dear Marcy.

Mrs Dub was an amazing teacher. I can still remember the first day I met her. She instantly clicked with me. It was our first day if art and she was an assistant teacher in my class. I had my social studies class and health class with her as well. She was always there for me when I needed someone to talk to. She was always so passionate about her love for her family and friends. Mrs Dub would occasionally share pictures with me about her family, nephews, and dog. I was always updating her on things that were happening in my life and she would always give amazing advice. Its so sad to me that our last conversation was a goodbye. Mrs Dub truly put an amazing influence and impact on my life and I wish her family and loved ones the best. I send regards to all her family and friends.

Marcy was a friend and good neighbor at Dana Point Condominiums. She "babysat" our feline, Cat, and doted on her, bringing her Christmas treats. We were with her just a couple of weeks ago, so I am shocked that she has passed. She had taken a fall on the property and was having problems with dizziness on Jan 19, when she texted me saying she was seeing the doctor who told her it was post concussion syndrome and it would pass in a few months. She had also talked to a lawyer about the fall. I hope her family is aware of all this. We will miss her.

Marcy was a great friend and neighbor at Dana Point Condominiums. She catsat our feline Cat, who she doted on. I´m so shocked on her passing, we saw her just a couple of weeks ago. We won´t be able to attend her service as we are out of the country. We will miss her tremendously. April & Mark Swenson

I was one of Ms. Dub´s students. She was my favorite teacher and I´m so sad she is no longer with us. She helped me so much and knowing that she won´t be around to help me makes me want to dig myself a hold and stay in there. My condolences to the family
