Marcella C. Lowery, 79, of Greenwich, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024, at Fisher Titus Hospital, Norwalk.

She was born Sept. 22, 1944, in Norwalk, to Marcella (Falter) and Leon C. Hippler. Marcella was a 1962 graduate of Norwalk St. Paul High School and was employed at the Greenwich bank for several years. She then worked at Pepperidge Farm until retiring after 20 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in New London and enjoyed baking, gardening, canning, watching football (especially Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes), and trips to casinos.

Marcella married John L. "Jack" Lowery on April 25, 1964, and he preceded her in death July 17, 2000.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Lowery of Greenwich; granddaughter, Hali Lowery of Waycross, Georgia; three sisters, Rita Caprara of Norwalk, Rose Marie Wireman of Archbold, and Joyce Ridge of Norwalk; and several brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Tracy L. (Ronnie) Caudill; son, John Lowery II; and sister, Carolyn Landenberg.

Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main Street, Greenwich, Ohio, 44837. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 18 Park Ave., New London, Ohio, 44851, with interment at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
