Marcie E. Naderer, 85, passed away Thursday, April 27th, 2023, at ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Also surviving are siblings Donald (Connie) Bouillon of Fostoria; sisters: Barbara Wise of Tiffin; Anna Thiry of Fostoria; Mary (Kenneth) Riedlinger of Upper Sandusky; and Martha (Robert) Brickner of Marysville, Oh; sister-in-law Evelyn Bouillon and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her infant son Johnny and siblings Paul Bouillon, Charles R. Bouillon, Margaret Koby, Alma Smith and Gladys Frank.
Marcie was a selfless, devoted mother and an excellent listener. Her children fondly remember her delicious meals and baked goods, her beautiful flowers, and her flair for decorating the house for the holidays. She made home a sanctuary, a place to stop by for a quick conversation at the kitchen table and large gathering spot for family near and far, creating warm memories that will live on for generations.
She loved growing her own flowers, especially roses. She was also a voracious reader, a country music fan (her favorite singer was George Strait, who she saw in concert), and a trip to the Hollywood Casino always put a smile on her face. She had a strong faith, with a special devotion to Mary. She was a member of Fremont St. Joseph Parish and the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament, helped with funeral luncheons, and assisted cleaning the church. She and her husband helped with many St. Joe functions, including assembling the school newsletter and serving in the cafeteria. She was also a Farm Bureau member and often helped her husband on the farm with various chores. She followed her children and grandchildren's sporting events and enjoyed celebrating special days with them.
Marcie had an awesome sense of humor, well-known for her dry one-liners and catchphrases. She was patient, kind, and hard working. Hearing her laugh and seeing her bright blue eyes brought much joy to her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitations will be Tuesday May 2nd, 2023 at the Parish hall in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan St. Fremont, OH 43420 from 9:00am -10:00am. Funeral Mass with begin promptly after the visitation. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery following services. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Valley View Life and Enrichment Dept.
The Naderer family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Valley View Assisted Living for taking loving care of Marcie. Often spoke of how kind the staff was to her, and she was very appreciative.
