Marcella Joyce "Marcy" Risley

MARCELLA RISLEY
Marcella Joyce Risley, 86, left Pretty Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie, Kansas to join her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ on April 26, 2025.
She was born Oct. 8, 1938, in Hutchinson, Kansas to Charles Allen and Rosella (Graber) Risley the first of seven children.
She graduated from Adams High School, Wichita Business School and Prairie Bible Institute, Alberta, Canada.
Marcy taught Child Evangelism Classes, worked at Back to the Bible Broadcast in Lincoln, Nebraska and did mission work in Bogota, Columbia with New Tribes Missions.
She owned and operated Marcy's Alterations for thirty years retiring at age 80.
Marcy is survived by her brothers Leroy and wife Elaine, Kenneth and wife Therese; sisters Wanita Lampe, Arlene King and husband David; thirteen nieces, nephews and their spouses and children. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Jeanette Helm and her husband Raymond, Gloryanne Simons and her husband Floyd; and brother-in-law Larry D. Lampe.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the Cornerstone Fellowship Church where she was a member with Pastor David Roth presiding. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the Kingman Mennonite Cemetery.
