Marcella Lynn Turner, age 56, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away from cancer at home with her daughter by her side, having been granted the dignity to choose her final journey on January 14, 2026. Born on May 15, 1969, to Leonard Edwin and Rita Sherry Ann Turner (nee McCoy), Marcella's life was one filled with devotion, strength, and a spirit that brought joy to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Leonard and Rita. Marcella leaves behind a cherished family, including her daughter Meaghan Lynn Dreyling-Fultz (Mat Fultz), her son Kenneth Michael Galbraith (Lisa) and Billi Childress who was loved like a daughter. She is also survived by her siblings: Tammy Turner, Todd Turner (Lori), Rich Turner (Krista), Matt Turner (Sherry), and half-brother Michael Turner, as well as her uncle Bill McCoy (Bev), Aunt Sissy Smith and many nieces and nephews. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Sierra Marie Collum, Dallas Edward Collum, Logan Michael Dreyling, Mackenzie Lynn Dreyling, Landon Michael Collum, Adyson Marie Dreyling, Aryton James Galbraith, Kendall Zoey Renee Galbraith, and Castor Ray Fultz, along with many family members and friends.
Marcella was known for her loyalty, bravery, and independence. She had an unwavering ability to bring happiness to others, ensuring they felt loved and cherished. An aficionado of animal prints and a proud Camaro enthusiast, she shared many joyful moments, including trips to Bengals playoff games, with her family. Her adventurous spirit thrived at the beach, where she found solace in the ocean waves.
The family respectfully requests that friends and loved one's honor Marcella’s legacy by wearing animal print to celebrate her unique personality.
A funeral ceremony will take place at 10:30 AM on Saturday January 24, 2026, with a visitation from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
