Graveside Service, Saturday, November 1, 2025 1PM, at Clearwater Cemetery, Clearwater, KS.
Preceded in death by spouse, Loyce Heitman; parents, James “Frank” and Athena (Kiner) Whorton; sister, Ruby Sowersby.
Survived by children, James B. Heitman of Peck, James D. (Kaitlyn) Heitman of Belle Plaine, Fred Shofler Jr. (Courtney) of Peck; grandchildren, Charlee, Payton, and Madison Heitman, Haleigh Whitely; two great grandchildren; siblings, Jerry (Marilyn) Whorton of Russellville, AR, Lynn Whorton of Lumberton, TX, Linda (Randy) Oliver of Cheney, KS, Roger (Teresa) Whorton of Houston, TX, James Whorton of Cheney, KS; numerous nieces and nephews.
