Marcia R. Bowles

(Albion) Marcia R. Bowles age 78, passed away November 25, 2025 at United Memorial Medical Center after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born January 7, 1947, a daughter of the late Charlie and Leona (Licht) Chick and had lived in this area all of her life.

Marcia was a member of the Eagle Harbor United Methodist Church where she volunteered in the kitchen for many events. She owned and operated her own hair salon for 45 years. She was a kind and caring person who was always doing things for others. Marcia's husband Bill was active with the VFW of Albion and the Albion Fire Department and Marcia would volunteer her time helping with whatever needed to be done in those organizations. When the Santa Claus School was in Albion, she could be found dressed as an elf, helping wrap presents. Marcia loved going to Batavia Downs.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Bill and her daughter Kris Junot.

She is survived by her grandchildren Travis (Janice) Junot, KyLee (Austin Genno) Robson, Jordynn Junot, Allysa Junot; brother Chuck (Kathy) Chick.

The family will receive friends at the Eagle Harbor Methodist Church, 13407 Eagle Harbor-Knowlesville Rd, Albion, NY 14411, Tuesday December 9th, 11:00am-1:00pm where her Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00pm. Memorials may be made to the Church and mailed to Eagle Harbor Methodist Church c/o Michelle Howard 2364 Lake Road Hamlin, NY 14464.
