Marcia Grace Henderson

Marcia Grace Guida Henderson, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Sunday October 6, 2024. Marcia was born on May 9, 1952 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She moved to the Tampa area and then to Orlando where she attended Glenridge Junior High and graduated from Colonial High School in 1970. Upon graduation, she worked in retail where she met Richard, her husband while attending FTU (now the University of Central Florida) where she received a bachelor’s degree in sociology. After graduation, she worked at Maynard Electronics and Seagate as a systems analyst and programmer.

Marcia married Richard, the love of her life, on September 23, 1972. She was a devoted wife of 52 years, and their strong marriage was an example to their children. Marcia was a caring mother who selflessly sacrificed her own needs for her family. She created a loving home filled with unconditional love. 

Her kindhearted spirit and precious memories will live on through her devoted husband, Richard, her children Kenneth (Jennifer) and Amy (Mel), her grandchildren, Kenndall, Grayson, Emmalyn and Clara and her brothers James Guida and Charles Squires. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Claudia Guida. 

All of us who knew and loved Marcia will forever appreciate and honor the person she was. Her kindness, generosity, and adoration for her family are a remarkable illustration of the way she lived her life. Marcia will be greatly missed and “loved us more” than we will ever know. 

Marcia’s family will be honoring her life with a service on Sunday, October 13th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 335 East State Road 434 in Longwood. The family will receive friends and visitors from 1:00-2:00 for the viewing with the funeral service starting at 2:00. 

Interment will follow the funeral service at All Faiths Memorial Park – 1390 Park Drive in Casselberry.
