Marcia C. Johnsrud, age 77 of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.

The former Marcia Mecca was born on June 2, 1948 in Elmhurst, IL, a daughter of the late Lester and Eileen (Whalen) Mecca. She grew up and attended school in Manitowoc. She received an associate's degree from LTC in 1989 and a bachelor's degree from Silver Lake College in 1991. On December 8, 1973, Marcia was married to John A. Johnsrud at St. Paul Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1999. Marcia worked in administration over the years for several companies including the Mirro Company and Manitowoc Ice, retiring from the Holy Family Convent. In the past she enjoyed bowling, traveling to Las Vegas, gun deer hunting, and attending Packer and Badger games. Currently, she enjoyed playing Sodoku and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

Survivors include one son: Scott Musial, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law: Jenna (Brent) Endries, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Tyler Musial, Trevor Musial, and Aubrey Endries; two great-grandchildren: Rayne Musial, Cheyenne Musial; three siblings: Pamela (David) Neuser, Mesa, AZ, Phillip (Debbie) Mecca, Neenah, Joseph (Charlotte) Mecca, Manitowoc; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Paul (Mary) Johnsrud, Manitowoc; two Godchildren: Nicole Burris, Hawaii, Michael Heide, Chicago, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lester and Eileen Mecca; her husband John A. Johnsrud; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: William (Kathy) Johnsrud; one niece: Paula Scheer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2109 Marshall Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. Doug LeCaptain will Celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with Burial to follow in the Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
