WAPAKONETA - Marcia K. Lippert, 81, of Wapakoneta, a cherished mother, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 3:06 p.m., at her residence, leaving a void her family cannot fill.
She was born in Sidney, Ohio on August 3, 1943, to the late John and Naomi R. (Packer) Gies. On September 16, 1967, she married Raymond D. Lippert, and he preceded her in death on September 5, 1994.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle K. Lippert, Jodi R. (Tim) Craddock, and Rachel A. (Tim) Rank; granddaughter, Paris N. Craddock; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces.
Along with her parents and husband, Marcia was preceded in death by her siblings, Crystal Ann Gies, M. Beth Murphy, and John Michael Gies.
Marcia was known for her kindness, warmth, generosity, and sense of humor. She had a passion for her family, an avid bowler, including coaching young bowlers, and loved sports of all kinds (Go Buckeyes). When younger she loved to play ball, beating the boys. She always put others first and was a true friend and mentor to many. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and worked for Holloway Sportswear for many years.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 214 W. Pike Street, Jackson Center. Pastor Shelly Schultz will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, 607 S. Main Street, Jackson Center. The burial will follow the service on Friday, in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire.

i was neighbors with Marcia and the Gies family and she really was the best athlete on our block but also the nicest and hardest working person..Will miss you Marcia.....
