Marco Martinez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Deer Park Funeral Directors - Deer Park on Mar. 2, 2026.
Our hearts are heavy as we announce the passing of Marco Antonio Martinez, who left us on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the age of 62. Marco was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, whose warmth and love touched so many lives. He is now reunited with his father, Raul A. Martinez, and his sister, Sylvia M. Gomez. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Christina Martinez; his mother, Maria del Carmen Martinez; his sisters, Maria Bermea, Lorena Martinez, and Carmen Cooper; his brother, Edward Martinez; his children, Cynthia Marie Mendoza, Jessica Morgan Alvarez, Kaylin Nicole Martinez and Antonia Martinez; five adoring grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Born in Eagle Pass, Texas, on March 13, 1963, Marco embraced life in Houston, TX, with passion and joy. He will be lovingly remembered for his lifelong fascination with antique cars, his unwavering dedication to family and friends, and his infectious laughter that could brighten even the darkest days. Marco and Christina's 35-year marriage was a testament to their shared love for family, a bond that grew stronger with each passing year.

A viewing and Holy Rosary will be held at Deer Park Funeral Directors on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 9 am to 1 pm. Following, the interment service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale at 2 pm. We invite all who knew and loved Marco to join us in celebrating his beautiful life.
