With deep sadness but relieved hearts after a long battle of health issues, the Elle family had to say "good bye" to Marcus Elle, who peacefully passed away on March 16th 2023. Marcus was born August 25, 1953 to the late Gearhard and Margaret (McTaggert) Elle in
Forest Park, IL. On June 13, 1987, Marcus was united in marriage with Angela Brauer in
North Lake, IL.
Before his passing, Marcus enjoyed playing billiards, attending car shows at the Volo Auto Museum, and playing backyard sports. You could often find him watching TV, reading, and sitting on the front porch while enjoying the spring and summer breeze.
Marcus had a kind and generous heart and was loving and patient towards those he came across - no matter the length of time that he knew them. He is best known for finding humor no matter how tough a scenario may be.
Survivors include, his loving wife and caregiver, Angela Elle; children, Thomas and Flynn (formerly Meagen); remaining siblings, Randan (Rose) and Orma (Chuck) Ashcraft; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Marcus was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret "Marge" Werner, Gearhard "Bud" Elle, Noreen DeZanet, Rosalie "Susie" Wind, Michael Elle, Kenneth "Kenny" Elle, and Rhonda McCoy; and mother-in-law, Kaete (Franz) Brauer.
While no funeral adjustments have been made, the family plans to hold a celebration of life for Marcus soon.
