Marcus Anthony Gallardo

Marcus Anthony Gallardo, 27, born and raised in El Paso, Texas, went to be with our Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. He was a beloved son and an amazing brother who touched the lives of all who knew him, but his stay on this earth was much too short. His firm belief in Jesus Christ supported him during his struggles and ultimately gave him peace.
"Flaco" as he was affectionately known by his parents was a graduate of Irvin High School class of 2013. He is greatly remembered at Freeport McMoRan by his friends and former coworkers. His military training in emergency response granted him patience and calmness for real life events. While in Basic Training, he suffered an injury preventing him from fulfilling his service goals. Later, Marcus worked at Fort Bliss as a contractor for FITT Scientific in maintenance servicing Humvees, tanks, and track vehicles while making meaningful friendships during his time there.
He loved spending time with his brother every chance he got. Genuinely cared about others who were hurting, those in need of a laugh, and helping the homeless whenever he could. A grand storyteller and passionate entertainer. An expert in all things cinema, ready to wow us with his recent discoveries. He was truly a smart and caring individual with a big heart.
Marcus is survived by his parents Joe and Basilisa Gallardo, his brother Joseph, his 3 grandparents, 5 aunts, 6 uncles, 14 cousins, and many, many friends, and his 2 dogs Onyx and Topaz.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Rosary at 6:00 PM, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Committal Service will take place at 12:30 PM at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
