Such a sweet and beautiful couple together. God had other plans and he wrapped his arms around Marcus giving healing, peace and comfort.

It was my first day as a 7th grader at Klein Intermediate and I think he talked to me bc I was nervous. We ate lunch together and from that first day we were thick as thieves, stayed at each others houses, watching movies, playing Nintendo, etc. You never once let me be bullied by anyone. You are will forever be in my heart and memories. Gone too soon, rest well, and I´ll think of You each time I watch " The Goonies." I´m numb, saddened but know you aren´t in pain. RIP old friend. #gonetoosoon #cancersucks #fightertilltheend

Marcus and I met at JPM first. Then we worked together at Wells Fargo, from December 2008 to December 2013. During that time we learned a lot about each other and I met his future wife, Geneva while working together. In fact, I think she is the one that put in a good word, for him, to me in order to hire him. We were a small team in the Houston office, the International Team, and we worked early morning hours, and worked well together. We would do outtings, including visiting the main office in Columbia, MD and he always had a happy demeanor and talked about his wife and family glowingly. I don't think I ever remember him complaining about anything, which was something I really admired about him. After we moved on from Wells Fargo, we were at different companies but would pass each other in downtown Houston and play catch up for a few minutes or so. He will definitely be missed and I am glad he and I got to work together for a half decade. Geneva and family, my condolences to you all. Rest easy Marcus, God, family, and friends got them covered. As the London group would say - Cheers, William "Will" Wallace
