It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Marcus Dwayne Ragland, age 33 of Rome Georgia on Saturday, August 30, 2025 in Cherokee County, Alabama. Services celebrating his life will be held at 1PM on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Greater Christ Temple Rapture Preparation Cathedral located at 1321 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd Rome, Ga. 30161. Interment will follow at Oaknoll Cemetery located at 2549 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga 30165.

I remember Marcus from his Middle School Days. He was always very kind and respectful towards me. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
